Locked in stocks on Collins Beach!
Zayda's alarm clock malfunctioned and made her late for our first photo shoot. Consequently... fresh out of bed Zayda. No make up. No fixing her frizzy hair. Just fully natural and fresh from the shower with a cup of coffee to wake her up.
Bad precedent. Behavioral modification indicated. After some perfunctory shots on the sand and in the water - including a monumentally shocked Zayda when the wake from a passing boat caused a wave of frigid October Columbia River water to splash onto some very sensitive tissues - Zayda was chained to a tree while the Camera Monkey made the ten minute hike back to the truck to get a set of wooden stocks... and these stocks have a shelf attached as a base that is buried six inches deep in the sand, so... once that padlock is snapped tight, there is no escaping unless some random passerby is carrying a chain saw. And there were many passers by...
p.s. Zayda was never late to a shoot again!
