Doesn't he have people around him to keep people like us away from him?

I don`t really think so - but hey he was Travis Bickle
- a friggin Nutbar killer hehe

I actually like some of his newer stuff better. I like that he often takes small parts and parts where he looks like a goofball. He doesn't take himself too seriously. It's not like he even HAS to work these days, let alone take parts that aren't all about him.

I think he makes sure the movie that he`s in- big part or not - that it is worth his time and talent

he probably enjoys working with new talent. it's all icing on the cake for him at this stage in his career.

He`s part of The Actor`s Studio right? He probably would teach or at least guide new talent?

Maybe if you "charmed" him, he would consider it

His taking those kinds of parts impresses me more than any of his leading man stuff. It doesn't take much to be the big man. It take a lot more to make an idiot of yourself.

you're right, CRay! charlie, hope I'm in my profile pic outfit at the time! Haha

Oh yes - I think taking on a small part or an undesirable character - and still be recognized is truly professional calibre
