More like the perils of I 5...other than the trauma of seeing a 130 pound doe's eyes in my windshield as she hit, and the crunch that destroyed my right front end, I'm fine. As in skydiving, 'You fell, you lived. what more do you want?' The 220 mile tow to Newport was pricey, and I'm sure they're going to tell me it's totaled - or nearly so...I don't want a new one, they don't make them in British Racing Green anymore since the Lotus engineers left...maybe I can winkle TWO cars out of this.....film at 11 tomorrow!

I hit one a couple years back in my Intrepid... barely a scratch on the hood but the dear was toast... weird how that can happen!
