Had a fun shoot tonight after work. Worked with a student photographer on this one which was inspired by the documentary, Grey Gardens. I portrayed a character of a woman who, though past her prime, is still beautiful and still longing for the spotlight. Looking forward to seeing the results.

Thanks, yes, the doc was both haunting and beautiful. The shoot was fun. You know I love dress up stuff. The emphasis was mostly on the jewelry for this particular project. The photog is a student in fashion photography at SVA.

been thinking more about the shoot and I think Sunset Boulevard is more accurate than Grey Gardens to describe the theme http://www.circlecinema.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/05/sunset-boulevard.jpg

You are just "playing" because, you are NO where near past your prime. These young gals could learn from you, IF they would listen then do.

@fantasyonfilm thanks so much, yes, I was definitely acting for this shoot. LOL, no way I could really know what it's like to be past your prime. I don't mind being an example for the young ones to follow, if they need one.
