@Kittie because Diverxity pays next to nothing for content and on clips4sale I get paid a few dollars per purchase/viewer. I put up very little on Diverxity, either samples or stuff that just hasn't sold. This video has sold twice this week. That's more revenue than everything I have on Diverxity.

For me it is opposite, clips4sales doesn't pay anything and Diverxity pays well. I just got a check for 300 dollars from diversity.

Different type of content appeals in different places. It's also how you market.

Kittie Sure you have marketing. You title and describe the photos. Don't confuse marketing with advertising. also Clips 4 Sale is a huge place with I think 75,000+ stores. There are all sorts of niches there. Diverxity has I think dozens of contributing artists. As for revenue: $300 is more than I get from C4S right now but it leads to some very lucrative custom work and some time wasters as well of course (one fellow wrote to say how much he enjoyed the above video and could he buy the sheets if I haven't laundered them; I haven't, so sure...but he had in mind less than a set of sheets cost so no deal).. One difference between us: I have to pay girls to model and perform for me. They very rarely accept a revenue share.

I think selling those sheets would be illegal, I know a girl in SC that went to jail for selling used panties. Anything with used body fluids cross state lines is illegal. 75,000 stores is too hard to compete against.

I know a lot of friends who try to open a foot fetish site on C4S and make no money, because they can't stand out. It is really hard to stand out on C4S...

Kittie the law that I know of specifically is a postal service one that prohibits mailing such items. I would never use the US Mail to send anything adult. Used but laundered sheets etc., sure but not adult DVDs or photos etc.

as for c4s: many of those stores update infrequently if at all. If you're trying to do foot fetish, yeah that's real tough. I do have some few sales of foot fetish video that was done along with other stuff that does sell, I paid for the day's work and this was one 15 or so minute interval of footsie. In c4s in general, if you are in a crowded niche you have a hard time to get noticed and stay that way. Bondage, for example, your update won't keep on you the "what's new" list in that category for a day. So find a related niche, maybe handcuffs for example, that's not completely dead and work on that. do that for a few. I've got some Damsel in Distress that's gotten me to the top-selling studios list at #33 or so and a clip that made it to #9 for awhile. Then sales dropped off because I don't have anything new in that category to drive sales in the category. The solution is to find outside traffic that want that stuff and send them to the clip.

finally: if you're getting so much attention on Diverxity that you get $300 a month, you should be raking it in with right category on the right clips store.

@Kittie foot fetish is a very, very crowded niche on C4S. That means a lot of people produce content in that category so you don't get much traffic to any one who isn't on the top 50 list for the category. The opposite extreme is the Suspension Category which has updated studios on the list for months and months.
